This October, Gemini Industries, Inc. proudly joined companies across the nation in celebrating National Employee Ownership Month, a time to recognize the power of employee ownership and the people who make it thrive.
As a 100% employee-owned company, Gemini believes that ownership isn’t just about shares, it’s about pride, purpose and teamwork. Throughout the month, Gemini’s employee-owners came together to celebrate what it means to be part of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): working toward shared goals, celebrating shared successes and investing in each other’s futures.
A Month of Celebration
Gemini’s ESOP Committee organized a full calendar of themed weeks and activities designed to engage and inspire employees at every location:
- Education Week kicked off the month with the launch of a new employee e-newsletter, The Finish Line, and a golf tournament.
- Shareholder Week celebrated Gemini’s owners who drive the company forward.
- Ownership Week brought some friendly competition through games and challenges and a blood drive benefitting the community.
- Pride of Ownership Week encouraged everyone to wear Gemini gear and “show their colors” with pride.
- Team Gemini Week wrapped up the month with camaraderie, celebration and contest winner announcements.
Throughout the month, employees enjoyed Octoberfest Brats & RootBEER social events in El Reno and Grand Prairie and a Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Puzzles, word games and contests added some extra fun, with prizes and team spirit.
At Gemini, being an employee-owner means more than holding stock, it means taking ownership of your work, your ideas and the company’s success. ESOP Month was a reminder that Gemini’s strength lies in its people: skilled, dedicated and proud to be part of something they own.
